Use a Nano SIM with data and SMS enabled. The best choice is a provider with strong reception where your pet will actually be wearing the tracker—for example, around your home, local parks, walking routes, or rural property. If you tell us your SIM provider at checkout, we can set it up for you before your tracker ships.
Unlike other trackers, Cheeky Bobby will not lock you into any platform subscription fees. You only pay for your SIM plan. Many customers use prepaid SIMs to keep costs low.

The tracker is designed to thread onto your pet’s collar using the included collar attachment. It sits snugly against the collar rather than dangling.
One of the great things about this tracker is that it doesn't rely on Bluetooth, you just need an area with suitable mobile coverage, just like a mobile phone. This tracker’s speed and performance will depend on the coverage of 4G network in your area.
Under clear skies, it will give a location within approximately 10 metres of accuracy. Indoors, accuracy may vary as it relies on mobile network positioning.
Setup is relatively simple, and we offer a free pre-configuration service. If you include your SIM provider in the text box at checkout, we can configure it before dispatch. You’ll still need to insert your SIM, charge the tracker, and log in to the app, but we aim to remove as much friction as possible before it reaches you.
